IMO, your position paper introduced well into sociological -information
problems per se. But as we are an interdisciplinary group working on fis
(foundations of information science), could we not try, starting from
soc-level, to abstract it more to connect with the more general
fis-discussions?
I think on topics like:
- the role of ensembles, groups, collectivities in info-processing
- evolution of info-exchange / communication in social theory and history
- how do info-related notions like expectations, interactions, intentions,
will and so on explain informational and virtual realities?
Myself I would like to connect with other non-soc fis-topics posting some
more abstract thoughts resulting form social systems theory.
