Dear Juan

I am very interested in theories of emotion and the way emotion affects signification or what we consider to be meaningful, and how meaning relates to information.

At the ISSS-conference in Toronto in July I am chairing a FIS session where this theme is very welcome.I am still welcoming abstracts to this session. Look at the ISSS website for information about this exiting conference.

I the journal Cybernetics & Human Knowing, which I am editing we are also interested in these themes.

              Kind regards

Hi, I have recently subscribed to this list, and would like to know about
other parties who could be interested in my neurocomputational research
topic.

The theme I try to develop is the nature of emotions, understood as
neurodynamic information processing tools --both biologically motivated and
also technologically in the new field of "affective computing".

I have really enjoyed the recorded discussions of past fis conferences in
the fis Web pages, and am waiting very excited for the coming sessions of
fis 2000.

sincerely yours

Juan Santaolalla
