Michael

Dear Alan Schwartz,
I heard from the FIS-group and independently from
Otto Roessler (who is a member of our editorial board)
that our friend Michael Conrad passed away on
December 28, 2000. I do not know what to say
I feel deeply depressed, he was a very very
good friend.
Can we do something to honour Michael, should we
collect a few articles devoted to him ?
I already contacted the FIS group to ask
for ideas or contributions.

Dear Colleagues,

still I cannot believe that our good friend Michael passed away.
If this is really true we should do something. What about a special issue
of BioSystems or any other appropriate journal. Since he acted as
Co-Managing editor of BioSystems, may be this journal is most
appropriate to devote several articles to his memory.
I would be ready to contribute an article, who would join me?
