Dear Members of the FIS-List!

As you may have noticed, due to technical problems (a server crash), the
FIS-Site, which can be found at http://fis.iguw.tuwien.ac.at, was
destroyed last Summer. In my function as new administrator of this site
I also inherited the job of reconstructing the last major part of the
site missing: the online-representation of the FIS-Mailing-List.
Starting at the beginning of the year 1998 all messages posted to
the FIS-List were archived and are accesible online at
http://fis.iguw.tuwien.ac.at/mailings/
Major parts of the Discussion were named the "FIS 98 Discussion" and
sumed up, structured and formated in this file
http://fis.iguw.tuwien.ac.at/fis98/discussion.html, which I used as one
foundation in process of reconstruction. Refering to this file we are
still missing 20 messages, which are listed below (I have just
information about the author and subject unfortunately date information
is missing):

Ted Goranson - Re: Conscious Layer Speculations
Pedro C. Marijuan - the Three Mechanics
E. Taborsky - three levels
Igor Rojdestvenski - Re: the Three Mechanics
Jerry LR Chandler - Re: the Three Mechanics
E. Taborsky - information
Igor Rojdestvenski - Re: information
Antonino Drago - RE: the Three Mechanics
Pedro C. Marijuan - mechanics vs. info
Pedro C. Marijuan - Re: while waiting
Igor Rojdestvenski - Re: while waiting
Pedro C. Marijuan - one and the same?
Igor Rojdestvenski - Re: one and the same?
Bela Banathy - Re: while waiting
Morris Villarroel - Three phyla
Pedro C. Marijuan - Re: Definition of information
Igor Rojdestvenski - Re: Definition of information
Svar Soren Brier - Re: Definition of information -
Pedro C. Marijuan - Re: Definition of information
Koichi Hirano - Distinction between before and after

I think the time period in between this mails have been written can be
restricted to January - June 1999

For more Information about discussion theme and thread please have a
look at http://fis.iguw.tuwien.ac.at/fis98/discussion.html. Viewing
this page all missing mails are marked by two red exclamation marks
(scroll down right to the end).

So my request to you Members of the FIS-List is wheter you may help in
reconstructing the last missing parts of our site by having a look into
your mail-files, to probably find one or another of the messages listed
above and to send it to mailto:fis@kaneda.iguw.tuwien.ac.at. If you
collected your FIS-Mails in a separate mailfile, don't hesitate to zip
it up and send it, I will do the rest of work.

Thanks very much for you effort

Yours sincerely

patrick m. poelz
(your fis-admin)
