PUBLICATION & CONF. VACATIONS

Dear colleages,

PUBLICATION
Following the invitation of Shu-Kun, we are going to publish the
proceedings of the ongoing conference in the Journal Entropy, in the
DECEMBER issue. After vacations (or maybe next week) I will post more
details on the technicalities of the edition. In the interim, please, take
into account that:

-- two in-depth reviews will be enough (to facilitate, one of them may be
the chair of the corresponding session in the e-conf),

-- around 15 November is the deadline for final versions,

-- papers should not be too long, around 6.000 -- 10.000 words is OK (or
less!), but it can be negotiated,

-- FISers who have not contributed, but have participated in the
discussions (or not), are cordially invited to join in. Cross-references to
other conf. papers and list discussions are encouraged.

CONFERENCE VACATIONS
In the last week of July we will make a pause. As usual, the list will be
kept open for anyone interested. Then, the NEXT CONF. SESSION will start in
early September. It will be chaired by JOHN HOLGATE; in due time he will
announce his batch of papers. We will move towards a new focus of discussion.
