I would like to recommend the book by Jan Kahre: THE MATHEMATICAL THEORY OF
INFORMATION, Kluwer 2002.

He shows that there is an infinity of mathematical information measures, and
relates many to each otherr. His fundamental axiom of information is less
useful, in my opinion, than his classification of different information
measures.
