Dear Andrei and Jonathan,

Thanks for this very interesting introductory text.
Here follow some questions of the beginner I am:

Mathematical:

The matrix QSTATE:
[ QAA QAB ]
[ QBA QBB ]
is such that QAB=conj(QBA), and QAA=(1-QBB) is a real in [0..1].
The spin is (HBAR/2)* ( QAB+QBA , i(QAB-QBA) , QAA-QBB ),
if I do not make errors.
Its modulus is HBAR * ( |QAB|^2 + (QAA-QBB)^2 / 4 )^(1/2)
and should be equal to the modulus of the spin of the particle.

Are there other conditions to be satisfied by the matrix QSTATE
to be valid in the QI context ?
E.g., apart the constraint on QAA, could any couple (QAA,QAB) be
considered to build a valid QSTATE matrix ?

Physical:

Apart for electrons, does the QI model is indeed assumed to work for
any particle or system of particles ?

Having two correlated r.v. X1 and X2, the observations of X1
provide informations about X1, but also about X2.
What are the basic differences between this kind of correlation and the
"correlation" in the QI case ?

Philosophical:

Could we say that the entanglement of two particles reduces to the fact
that a measure done on the first particle indicates something on the
second particle just because they are interacting ?
