Good thoughts Jerry. I would also like to see some examination of the
essential notion of "information". I am not sure how to phrase this, but it
seems to me that it packs a number of entirely different categories of
concepts. We might start with Pedro now classic three-fold division, and
see what else might be unpacked. For instance Søren's work on semiotics may
lead to something quite different than the Shannon notion, to the point that
we need different words completely, and different theoretical constructions.
