Data and meaning

Dear Luciano,

Your article "Is information meaningful data" addresses a
very interesting subject.
Your starting point is the standard definition of
information in terms of "data plus meaning".
We all understand what "data" means, but I would
appreciate getting some detail about what is put under
the word "meaning". Could you please provide some
information on this point so we can better understand
the build up of your thesis ?
