Dear Shu-Kun
Then we need your definition of data also!
Where Shannon defined his information concept as a technical aspect or interest within the realm of
human communication, Norbert Wiener and Schrdinger brought information out in nature through
thermodynamics, and from there into animals and machines, Gregory Bateson developed it to a mind
ecology where cybernetic mind is based on this natural idea of information uniting nature and human
mind in an evolutionary cybernetic world view; where information is 'a difference that makes a
difference'.

My humble definition: Information is the amount of data compressed.
